Candied Pecans Homemade Recipe

These are just a delight and so easy to make in your crockpot! They make a perfect gift for family and friends during the holidays.


16 ounces pecan halves, 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter, 1/2 cup confectioner’s sugar (icing sugar), 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon, 1/4 tsp ground cloves, 1/4 tsp ground ginger


Turn your crockpot on high for 15 minutes. Add pecans and butter to preheated crockpot and stir well. Add confectioner’s sugar and stir well making sure pecans are coated. Put lid on crockpot and cook for 15 minutes. Remove lid, reduce heat to low and cook for 2-3 hours (stir once every 1/2 hour or so). Cook until the pecans have a nice glaze. In a small bowl blend the spices. Pour pecans into a large bowl – sift spices over the pecans and stir well to coat them. Cool and enjoy! Your house will smell magnificent as these are cooking.
